Two Exes. One holiday adventure. Merry Ex-Mas?
Seventeen-year-old Lila Beckwith's parents just left for vacation, and Lila's all set to throw the holiday party of the season. But when her Christmas-obsessed little brother, Cooper, discovers that global warming is melting the North Pole, he and his best friend, Tyler, take off on a runaway mission to save Santa.
Lila has to get Cooper safely home before her parents get back on Christmas Eve. But the only person who can help her is Tyler's older brother, Beau — a.k.a. Lila's musician, anti-everything ex-boyfriend.
It'll take more than a Christmas miracle for Lila and Beau to overcome their differences and find their fugitive brothers. But could a journey destined for disaster help these polar opposites fall in love...all over again?
Hey, don't judge me! Holiday's is fast approaching anyways! But whatever time of the year it is, this book is worth a read. I enjoyed it big time and it is really very refreshing. I like that the writer included a road-trip in it. Thumbs up to that.
Lila and Beau. The exes. Love the pair! Even with Lila began faking her whole personality and choices in life, which is something so annoying, I like that she still remembered to turn back on where she had been. As for Beau, I really like that he became the man of the family and took responsibility of his little brother. And speaking of that, another lovable pair is Cooper, Lila's little brother and Tyler, Beau's little brother, too. They were the main keys why the exes realized they are meant together!
What I like:
* the road trip
* the holiday season
* Beau! :)
