4 out of 5 stars
This is the second book from the Slammed series. This is where the happy ending is and they both deserved it!
Both Will and Layken had some issues of their own - Will's past and Layken's trust. It is nice to see Will become the unperfect one. Totally different from the first book where I can see Will as the perfect boyfriend, friend, friend, etc. A change that made him that made his relationship with Layken become strong whatever odds may come.
The impact may not be as strong as the first one but it's totally fine! It is nice to see that they both conquered all the hardships they experienced in life.
“If I were a carpenter, I would build you a window to my soul. But I would leave that window shut and locked, so that every time you tried to look through it all you would see is your own reflection. You would see that my soul is a reflection of you.”
